Absolutely - XIV pricing is all based on the VIX futures, which can be manipulated as easily as the underlying puts and calls on the SPX.

Which makes me overly cautious, perhaps. Truth is you would be hard pressed to beat a simple buy and hold of XIV. I mean the thing was at $32 on 11/7 of last year, now at 114. That is crazy.

You should open a Vix hedge fund and put me on as an advisor. With your tech knowledge and my cunning abilty to catch nuances and most directional changes, it would be epic and extremely profitable.
It will be called. XIV Bros. Four could stop by and post news articles.

Just another brilliant call by Shills, XIV dropping to 107 in my mind, and actually going well below that.
Execution was not the best though, did not want to miss the boat. Will just have to wait a bit longer which is fine.
